About the course
This program is designed to empower aspiring/in-service teachers, school academic heads as well as school administrators towards creating an active learning environment inside the classrooms. It is an online program focused on pedagogical skills which are significant to cater to the needs of 21st-century learners.
This will be accomplished through 15 online interactive sessions spread over 4 months by creating personalised learning environment. Learners will also get significant exposure to technological tools which can be embedded in their lesson plans to create interesting and enthusing environment for learning.
CPD Online is a very comprehensive (30 hrs) training programme (4 months course) focused on guiding teachers with the skills needed to:
- design their own innovative strategies.
- plan every minute of the class and create active lesson plans.
- integrate Differentiated Instructions for a more inclusive class.
- create a questioning classroom and use correct questioning techniques.
- use a variety of assessments to check students’ learning.
- employ technology at its best to engage students in synchronous as well as an asynchronous learning environment.
- get a firm hold on the concept of Metacognition and the strategies effective to use it in the classroom.
- become reflective practitioners and thereby carving out a better version of themselves every passing day.
Every teacher has to undertake 5 assignments of 20 marks each during the programme and a lesson observation is done at the end of the programme. Teachers are issued a comprehensive Report Card on their performance along with a Certificate.
